Kevin C Downs forThe New York Post

“We’ll do it every single time,” Williams vowed.

Police said Sunday that “multiple individuals were taken into custody” at the out-of-control demonstration outside the US General Services Administration building on Centre Street before noon Saturday that saw police officers called in, only to be bombarded with trash and debris.

Cops would not provide more details nor reveal how many were charged, but said cops repeatedly warned the mob to move along, leading to confrontations between the two sides when they refused.

Sources said at least 18 of the demonstrators were charged.

Protesters, who descended upon the city over the weekend, converged on a Lower Manhattan parking garage where federal immigration agents were allegedly ready to deploy for an immigration round-up raid, law enforcement sources said.

More than 150 protesters clashed with the NYPD in Lower Manhattan Saturday to protest federal immigration raids. William Farrington

The NYPD won’t say how many were charged after Saturday’s rowdy anti-ICE protest, but sources said at least 18. AP

Saturday’s Lower Manhattan clash between cops and anti-ICE protesters was one of several demonstrations citywide.
