Facebook\/Leslie Turner<\/p>\n<p>She also used it to send updates when her husband, the widely celebrated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/28\/sports\/missing-football-coach-travis-turner-scrubbed-from-high-schools-website-after-child-sex-allegations\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">head coach of Union High School<\/a>\u00a0in Big Stone Gap, Va., was reported missing after he left his Appalachia home on Nov. 20 just as police were en route to question him as part of their investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Days after he vanished, police suddenly announced Turner was wanted on five counts of child pornography and another five of using a computer to solicit a minor.<\/p>\n<p>As the widespread search for the missing father continued, a lawyer for the family revealed Friday that he was last seen leaving his home with a gun when he disappeared into a heavily wooded area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last known contact the family had with Travis occurred on or about Thursday, Nov. 20, after he left his residence to walk in the woods with a firearm,\u201d the family\u2019s attorney, Adrian Collins, said in a statement\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wjla.com\/news\/local\/family-of-travis-turner-claims-turner-left-residence-with-firearm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">obtained by WJLA.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is believed to have entered a heavily wooded and mountainous area. At which point, no warrants had been issued for his arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawyer added that the family had been cooperating with police and had launched their own search for him. <\/p>\n<p>Travis Turner\u2019s wife, Leslie, reported her husband missing on Nov. 21, 2025. Facebook\/Leslie Turner<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is the family\u2019s prayer that Travis is safe and will have the opportunity to defend himself in a court of law,\u201d the lawyer said. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Turner\u2019s family <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/25\/sports\/wife-of-virginia-football-coach-travis-turner-denies-accusations-her-missing-husband-is-involved-with-child-porn\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has denied the allegations\u00a0<\/a>leveled against him \u2014 calling the football coach a \u201cgood dad and a good husband.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNone of that is true,\u201d his wife told the Daily Mail last week. \u201cI don\u2019t know anything. I don\u2019t know anything.
