(WIBW) &#8211; A KS State Bank in Manhattan is down $7,500 total after two forged checks were cashed at the bank on Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Riley County Police Department, officers filed two reports of theft at the bank in the 1000 block of Westloop Place. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The first report was filed around 10:58 a.m., and the other around 11:39 a.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">One check was cashed in the amount of $2,500, and the other $5,000. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">It is unclear whether both checks were cashed by the same suspect; however, RCPD says that these were two separate incidents. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WIBW.
