A dogwalker was violently sexually assaulted by a homeless man just steps from Los Angeles Convention Center. KTLA via Terra<\/p>\n

She said the attacker did not speak but only made noises.<\/p>\n
The surveillance footage, timestamped at 6:23 a.m. on Nov. 8, shows Terra managing to break free\u00a0momentarily and soon after the two move from the camera\u2019s view. <\/p>\n
The dog is still in the frame.<\/p>\n
Terra said the attacker then threw her to the ground.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s when he hit me,\u201d Terra said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A\u00a0male bystander\u00a0heard her screams for help and pounced on the homeless attacker. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe was on top of the guy and just hitting him in the head over and over,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

The assailant\u00a0then fled.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s scary to think he\u2019s still out there,\u201d said Terra.<\/p>\n
By the time the police arrived, the homeless man was long gone. <\/p>\n
Terra said she now carries Mace and a stun gun when she goes out.<\/p>\n
The vicious attack took place on Nov. 8. KTLA via Terra<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m constantly looking over my shoulder. Before I knew it, he grabbed me and I was not able to get away,\u201d she said. \u201cI hope it never happens to anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
The case is being investigated by police as sexual battery and detectives believe the attacker is homeless. <\/p>\n
