Thomas, who is in a contract year and becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2026, suffered the injury during the first quarter of the first win of the season, against the Pacers, when he went scoreless in six minutes of action.<\/p>\n
In just eight games, Thomas was averaging 21.4 points and 2.6 assists on 35.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc, but a career-worst 40.2 percent from the field.<\/p>\n
Michael Porter Jr.\u2019s season-high 35 points marked his 24th career 30-point game.<\/p>\n
It was his sixth of the season, which ties his most 30-point games in any season (2020-21 with the Nuggets).<\/p>\n
With his 15th point of the night, he also became one of five active NBA players with at least 6,000 points and a career 3-point percentage over 40 percent.<\/p>\n
