BENSONHURST, Brooklyn (WABC) — A candlelight vigil was held in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon to honor the victims of the Hong Kong fire that killed at least 159 people last week.<\/p>\n

The event at Seth Low Park in Bensonhurst was to show solidarity with those impacted by the fire, which tore through seven high-rise apartment buildings.<\/p>\n

There are about 30 people still missing after the fire.<\/p>\n

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of deactivating fire alarms during renovation work at the housing complex. Another 15 people were arrested amid a probe into negligence and corruption, related to that work.<\/p>\n

Attendees included Council Member Susan Zhuang, Assembly Member William Colton, State Senator Sam Sutton, and other community leaders.<\/p>\n
