StopAntisemitism X account<\/a>, is drawing widespread condemnation and sparking backlash against her New Dorp-based company, Pure with Nature.<\/p>\nIn the roughly two-minute clip, recorded while she\u2019s driving, Masoud describes standing at a parking kiosk when she was approached by a couple who was \u201cclearly, clearly, you know I\u2019m not even going to say what they are. I\u2019m going to let you guys guess depending on the story.\u201d<\/p>\n
She recounts that the couple, unable to navigate their parking fee, offered her cash to feed the meter, but she said she replied, \u201cI\u2019ll do it if you say, \u2018Free Palestine.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Masoud said the woman looked shocked and stayed silent while her surprised husband asked, \u201cExcuse me?\u201d She then repeated her demand and later claimed that the husband responded with \u201cLa,\u201d which she said was the Arabic word for \u201cno.\u201d In fact, \u05dc\u05b9\u05d0 (Lea) is one of several ways to say \u201cno\u201d in Hebrew.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey even took our language,\u201d she exclaimed.<\/p>\n
She said the man averted his gaze before she again pressed them to repeat the \u201ctwo words,\u201d walking away and later posting her rant online.<\/p>\n
Masoud then went on to address the couple directly, saying, \u201cThe audacity \u2014 the fact that you know who you are. Not all Jews are Zionists, we know that, but I was like, maybe they\u2019re not.\u201d <\/p>\n
She continues, \u201cSo the fact that you know who you are, you had the audacity to ask me to help you, knowing who I am based on what I look like, knowing who you are and what you feel, you had the audacity to ask me for help out of everyone, you know what, go screw yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
Masoud\u2019s outburst quickly spread across social media, where many users condemned her for humiliating the couple who had sought her help. <\/p>\n
In the days since, her business has been hit with dozens of negative online reviews accusing her of antisemitism and bigotry, and the company\u2019s website displays a notice that it is in \u201cmaintenance mode.\u201d <\/p>\n
