Prince Harry took a jab at President Trump during his awkward appearance on the \u201cLate Show with Stephen Colbert\u201d as he teased Americans over their obsession with the royals.<\/p>\n
Harry crashed Colbert\u2019s monologue at the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC on Wednesday night when the late-night host poked fun at the various \u201cproblematic\u201d Christmas-themed movies centered around royalty.<\/p>\n
\u201cI genuinely thought this was the audition for the Gingerbread Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska,\u201d Harry quipped as he walked out onto the stage.<\/p>\n

Harry joked he wanted to go into acting because he knew how \u201cobsessed\u201d Americans were with Christmas movies and royalty. Colbert dismissed the claims, which set the Duke of Sussex up for the scripted response.<\/p>\n
\u201cReally? I heard you elected a king,\u201d Harry said while boos and groans erupted from the audience.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a fair point, no, he\u2019s got a point,\u201d Colbert told booing audience members.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd often making such a big deal about my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather George III,\u201d Harry said about the king of Great Britain at the time of the American Revolution.<\/p>\n
The 79-year-old president was again referenced, but never named, when Harry listed what he would do to land a role on Colbert\u2019s fictional Hallmark movie.<\/p>\n
