The three-floor, 13,000-square-foot space will be a physical love letter to NYC, with \u201cbespoke bodegas\u201d for only-in-New-York exclusive merchandise and cash register tills that take inspiration from the city\u2019s subway cars.<\/p>\n<p>The store\u2019s color scheme is Liberty Green throughout and includes tickers showing the latest news, offers and updates, a nod to store\u2019s location near the city\u2019s financial district. There also will be a specially crafted \u201cpizza weight plate\u201d to honor New York\u2019s plethora of pizzerias. Gymshark will offer its bespoke \u201c1-2-1\u201d shopping service, helping aspiring lifters and athletes ensure they\u2019re fitted with the best gear to help them achieve their fitness goals.<\/p>\n<p>The store\u2019s mannequins are 3D-printed versions of both real members of the Gymshark community and its iconic athletes, Chris Bumstead and Analis Cruz, \u201cpride of the Bronx.\u201d The flagship\u2019s third floor will be reserved for community activations and events such as panel talks, athlete meet-and-greets, live podcasts and Q&amp;A sessions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the entirety of Gymshark\u2019s existence, two things have remained constant \u2014 the gym, naturally, and community,\u201d said Mitch Healey, Retail and Wholesale Director North America for Gymshark in a statement. \u201cI don\u2019t think any city in the world places as much importance on community quite like New York. When you walk through the door, a) you know immediately that you are in a Gymshark store, and b) you feel the community vibe that this city is so famous for.
