A key aspect of that for Colvin is addressing stereotypes that men make better orthopedic surgeons because the specialty requires brute strength \u2013 while she counters that \u201cfinesse and technique\u201d are more important. Colvin herself is the first woman to be chief medical officer of the tennis U.S. Open.<\/p>\n
