STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Moore Catholic opened its season with an impressive 76\u201366 CHSAA AA league victory over Archbishop Molloy Thursday on the Mavericks\u2019 Graniteville court.<\/p>\n
Mackenzie Felci powered a balanced scoring effort, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Veronica Barbato followed with 17 points, including four three-pointers, while Emma Costanzo added 11.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a great way to start the season with a tough AA league win over a very good Molloy team,\u201d said Mavericks coach Gene Henderson. \u201cMackenzie Felci had a great game and was extremely active on both ends of the court \u2014scoring, rebounding, and blocking shots.\u201d<\/p>\n
Allie Felci contributed eight points and 12 rebounds, and Emma Bruno-Dunn chipped in with eight points and seven assists.<\/p>\n
Olivia Bruno-Dunn and Alyssa Ragona combined for 12 points to round out the scoring.<\/p>\n
Moore faces Murry Bergtraum Saturday in the Slinky Tournament at Truman High School in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Petrides secured the hard-fought PSAL 3A Brooklyn\/Staten Island division victory to improve to 3-0 in the league on the road Thursday.<\/p>\n
The contest featured multiple lead changes as both teams battled for control throughout all four quarters. Petrides ultimately created separation late in the fourth when Mackenzie Terry drilled a crucial three-pointer, pushing the Panthers ahead by six and providing the cushion they needed down the stretch.<\/p>\n
Asha Bell led all scorers with 18 points and added three assists. Terry delivered a strong all-around performance as well, contributing 15 points and seven rebounds, including the pivotal shot that shifted the momentum in Petrides\u2019 favor.<\/p>\n
Lincoln kept the pressure on, knocking down a three with 11 seconds remaining to close the gap to 40\u201337. Petrides, however, remained composed, relying on defense to secure the win in the final moments.<\/p>\n

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 On Tuesday, Bell poured in 32 points, including six three-pointers, giving the Panthers the home triumph.<\/p>\n
Bell\u2019s perimeter accuracy set the tone early, forcing CSIM to stretch its defense and opening opportunities for the rest of the Panthers\u2019 roster.<\/p>\n
The Panthers\u2019 defense proved impactful. Quick guards Bell and Sabrina Defazio (eight points) repeatedly disrupted CSIM\u2019s passing lanes, generating turnovers that fueled Petrides\u2019 transition offense. Their speed and anticipation created scoring opportunities.<\/p>\n
