Drag queen legend Trixie Mattel<\/a> has revived her hilarious \u2018Drag Queen Storytime\u2019 segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>, making fun of businessman and now author Eric Trump<\/a>\u2019s new memoir. <\/p>\n

The Drag Race icon certainly didn\u2019t pull her punches as she read the right-wing book<\/a> to a group of children. \u00a0<\/p>\n

In Wednesday\u2019s (15 October) monologue, Kimmel confirmed the return of \u2018Drag Queen Storytime\u2019 to \u201cbuild a bridge and to join hands through literature.\u201d The book in question was President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s third child\u2019s memoir, Under Siege: My Family\u2019s Fight to Save Our Nation.<\/p>\n

The return of this segment comes a few weeks after Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s show was taken off air<\/a>, but then reinstated, following his comments about the death of Charlie Kirk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The concept of a drag queen even being in the same room as children<\/a> has been a heated talking point with Republicans. There have been multiple attempts to restrict drag queens from accessing spaces where children may be. Particular emphasis has been on Drag Queen Storytime events, like the one recreated on air.<\/p>\n

That is explicitly called out in Mattel\u2019s opening moments, where she asks the children: \u201cDo I scare any of you?\u201d<\/p>\n

The kids all answer no, laughing. One even replies: \u201cYou just look amazing. Why would that be scary?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Eric isn\u2019t potty trained\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I have a whole pile of books here. What if we chose one together?\u201d Mattel went on. \u201cBecause this is, after all, a democracy. As of this morning, it\u2019s still a democracy. I\u2019m not sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mattel then asked if the kids would like her to read a book by Donald Trump. The question was met with a chorus of groans.<\/p>\n

\u201cHold up! What about President Trump\u2019s least favourite son?\u201d The response from the young listeners only continues with \u201cNO\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, we have to pay respect because his ghost writer worked really hard on this,\u201d Mattel quipped.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs everyone here potty-trained? Eric isn\u2019t potty trained.\u201d Mattel continued. She then read a number of extracts from the book, including Eric\u2019s statement that his father has \u201ca heart of gold.\u201d<\/p>\n

One child asked Mattel to pause before suggesting that, instead of skipping that page, they should \u201cskip the entire book.\u201d<\/p>\n

By this point, the children are completely bored with the book and request lunch be brought forward.<\/p>\n

Mattel then brings the kids outside for a \u201cspecial science experiment\u201d where they throw a copy of Under Siege into a wood chipper.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis might not be a great book, but it\u2019s going to make excellent confetti,\u201d Mattel announced.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s Drag Queen Storytime first started back in 2023 when Trixie Mattel read Ted Cruz<\/a>\u2019s book, Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America.
