With Ryan Serhant<\/a> at the helm, you best believe Owning Manhattan<\/a> Season 2 is going to feature some jaw-dropping real estate milestones. In fact, new SERHANT agent Peter Zaitzeff, whom Serhant poaches at the start of Season 2, delivers a record-breaking deal with the $60 million sale at 150 Charles in the West Village, marking the highest price ever paid on a downtown listing.<\/p>\n

In Season 2, Episode 5\u2014titled \u201cWolf of Wall Street\u201d\u2014\u00a0we learn that the condos at 150 Charles only \u201ctrade off-market because they are so rare that there\u2019s a waiting list to get in there,\u201d per SERHANT agent Jessica Taylor<\/a>. But with Zaitzeff working on one of those off-market listings, he is able to give exclusive access to Taylor and Jordan March<\/a>, who stop by to check it out for their potential buyers.<\/p>\n

The $60 million listing\u2014complete with an additional $450,000 parking space\u2014is nearly 6,000 square feet of prime real estate luxury. With an additional 3,000+ square feet of exterior terrace space, the property also features double-height ceilings, herringbone oak floors, and a custom eat-in kitchen, all done in a two-year, $6 million renovation.<\/p>\n

While March boasts of his potential buyers\u2014a \u201ccrypto guy,\u201d \u201chedge funder,\u201d \u201cactor,\u201d and a \u201cbig celebrity\u201d\u2014the episode fails to mention who he was specifically shopping for. When the realtor stopped by DECIDER\u2019s studio ahead of the Season 2 premiere, he revealed that he had sent the listing to his old friends, Hailey Bieber<\/a> and Benny Blanco<\/a>, and both teams were \u201cinterested.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have the most odd connection. I grew up with Hailey Bieber, or Hailey Baldwin, and her family,\u201d March told us. \u201cHer parents and my parents are super close. They did business with the church. We would even do\u00a0Thanksgiving and holiday parties together. We did her dad\u2019s surprise birthday party at my house back in the day.\u201d <\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThe other irony is that before real estate, I was in school for music and audio production, and Benny Blanco was my comrade.\u201d<\/p>\n

March found it \u201cironic\u201d that they were the two interested parties, seeing as Hailey\u2019s husband, Justin Bieber<\/a>, and Blanco\u2019s wife, Selena Gomez<\/a>, have a storied history together (they famously dated on-and-off for about eight years before finding their forever partners).<\/p>\n

\u201cI sent them both the deal. So, that\u2019s actually who I was shopping for on that unit,\u201d March added. \u201cI would say both sides\u2019 teams were genuinely interested in knowing more about the deal and actually working very quickly towards it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for March, Zaitzeff quickly sold the space for asking price (and a $1.8 million commission) by the end of Episode 5\u2014even Serhant couldn\u2019t secure the lofty deal for his buyer. While he was \u201csurprised\u201d at how fast it went off the market, he also knew the condo was a rare catch.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, that was definitely one of one,\u201d March said. \u201cIt never comes up. You don\u2019t get views [like that]. You don\u2019t get outdoor space in the West Village. So, that was a really unique property. I think any hot celebrity would have wanted to snatch up, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
