For Jessica Alba, things weren\u2019t so fantastic. <\/p>\n
The actress, 44, got candid about shooting the 2005 superhero movie \u201cFantastic Four\u201d while at the\u00a0Red Sea Film Festival\u00a0on Friday, sharing that her \u201cleast favorite scene\u201d was when her character Sue Storm appeared naked over a bridge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought that was awful,\u201d she recalled. \u201cIt was very humiliating in real life. I grew up with a pretty conservative family, and I am a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks. I have a lot of whiplash from those days.\u201d<\/p>\n
But despite that moment in the film, Alba \u201cloved\u201d how Sue cut down gender stereotypes.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was a woman I looked up to,\u201d the \u201cHoney\u201d star admitted. \u201cShe was very maternal and very kind, but also not a pushover; she spoke her mind. <\/p>\n
\u201cShe had a great moral compass. No matter who you are, you can look up to her. Oftentimes, the women in these stories need to be saved by a guy or the villain, the problem in the story. This was back then. It\u2019s different now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFantastic Four\u201d also starred Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd and the late Julian McMahon<\/a>.<\/p>\n When asked if she had watched Vanessa Kirby\u2019s performance in 2025\u2019s \u201cFantastic Four: First Steps,\u201d Alba revealed she has yet to see the movie.<\/p>\n \u201cI usually watch those movies with my kids, and if \u2018Sonic\u2019 was out, my son wants to watch it 85 times in a row,\u201d she confessed. \u201cWhen it comes to movies that are for the family, my kids dominate what we watch for sure. But I have to convince him because we have to see it! I love Marvel, and they\u2019re so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n These days, Alba is focused on her production company, Lady Metalmark Entertainment. <\/p>\n Jessica Alba in the hit 2005 Marvel film \u201cFantastic Four.\u201d \u00a920thCentFox\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n The Honest founder expressed that her goal is to \u201cchange minds\u201d about diversity on screen.<\/p>\n \u201cGrowing up, I didn\u2019t see a lot of diversity in storytelling,\u201d Alba explained, noting that while she doesn\u2019t \u201cblame Hollywood\u201d she does want to make a difference.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you have a lot of white guys in charge, they feel most comfortable telling stories through their lens,\u201d the actress continued. \u201cThey don\u2019t know you. They didn\u2019t grow up with a woman who grew up like me. Frankly, many of them didn\u2019t have women [in their lives] who were strong, not just running the household but making an income.
