{"id":62897,"date":"2025-12-06T22:31:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T22:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/62897\/"},"modified":"2025-12-06T22:31:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T22:31:10","slug":"crude-craig-cartons-wfan-return-allows-him-to-be-what-he-really-is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/62897\/","title":{"rendered":"Crude Craig Carton&#8217;s WFAN return allows him to be what he really is"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With his return to the vast radio wasteland that is WFAN, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/02\/sports\/craig-carton-returning-to-wfan-to-take-over-afternoon-drive\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Craig Carton has been released<\/a> from a prison for a second time, having left the bright lights of his Fox Sports show from which he faded from view and his ill-gained fame.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now he can again return to being a crude, name-calling, excrement-reliant junk-talker often misidentified in polite profiles as \u201cbold\u201d and \u201coutspoken\u201d when he\u2019s just another nickel-a-dozen shock jock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s the question of how the fact that his gambling addiction led to his incarceration will work on a station that is wedded to dubious sucker-gambling advertising that allows FAN to keep its lights on. Last year, Carton did, after all, tout NFL games on Will Cain\u2019s Fox show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As for his bold outspokenness, he\u2019s a master of bullying the defenseless.
