WASHINGTON \u2014 \u201cSquad\u201d Rep. Ilhan Omar<\/a> outlandishly accused Stephen Miller, an observant Jew, of espousing \u201cwhite supremacist rhetoric\u201d akin to the way the \u201cNazis described Jewish people in Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I think about Stephen Miller and his white supremacist rhetoric, it reminds me of the way the Nazis described Jewish people in Germany,\u201d Omar (D-Minn.) chided on CBS News\u2019 \u201cFace the Nation\u201d on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Omar, a first-generation immigrant from Somalia, was reacting to an X post by Miller, widely seen as the architect of President Trump\u2019s immigration agenda<\/a>, in which he tore into mass migration.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are not just importing individuals. You are importing societies. No magic transformation occurs when failed states cross borders,\u201d Miller wrote in the X post.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt scale, migrants and their descendants recreate the conditions, and terrors, of their broken homelands.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Post reached out to the White House for comment.<\/p>\n

Lefty critics have long tried to pin Miller to white supremacism, despite his Jewish heritage.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota Democrat has been incensed by the Trump administration\u2019s targeting of her home state over an eye-watering $1 billion fraud scandal in which dozens of people fraudulently took taxpayer dollars for social services they never provided.<\/p>\n

The fraud was centered around members of the Somali-American community in Minnesota, a fact that drew Trump\u2019s wrath last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, our country is at a tipping point,\u201d Trump said during a cabinet meeting last week. \u201cWe\u2019re going to go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country. Ilhan Omar is garbage. She\u2019s garbage. Her friends are garbage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are people that do nothing but complain. They complain and from where they came from, they got nothing,\u201d he went on. \u201cWhen they come from hell, and they complain and do nothing but bitch, we don\u2019t want them in our country.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the days that followed Trump\u2019s incendiary attack on Somali-Americans, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stepped up its enforcement operations in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s completely disgusting. These are Americans that he is calling garbage,\u201d Omar fired back against Trump\u2019s broadsides.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that the Somali fraud operation in Minnesota is the single greatest theft of taxpayer dollars, through welfare fraud, in American history,\u201d Miller said. AP<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also really important for us to remember that this kind of hateful rhetoric and this level of dehumanizing can lead to dangerous actions by people who listen to the president.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like Trump, Miller had been outspoken about the so-called Feeding Our Future fraud scandal<\/a>, which has prompted scrutiny from the administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that the Somali fraud operation in Minnesota is the single greatest theft of taxpayer dollars, through welfare fraud, in American history,\u201d Miller told Fox News\u2019 \u201cHannity\u201d last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we believe that what we are going to uncover is going to shock the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Omar has publicly said that the fraud likely grew out of control because the state had quickly created COVID-19 programs without properly thinking through the proper guardrails for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
