Blevins was caught sneaking back home at 11 p.m. on the night of the alleged murder, telling his mother he had gone out to smoke cigarettes but she didn\u2019t smell anything on him, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n
He was questioned by detectives and confirmed he and Troy \u201chad a falling out and he blocked her on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williams cried to detectives that the 14-year-old girl had made the \u201churtful comments,\u201d before he was arrested.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what Major Crimes calls a groundball, the evidence pointed to them immediately and they took them into custody immediately,\u201d Johnson said. \u201cUnfortunately for the Troy family they have to go through this.\u201d<\/p>\n
The teens have had \u201crun-ins\u201d with law enforcement in the past, but Johnson wouldn\u2019t disclose if they had previous arrests.<\/p>\n

Johnson revealed the county has had \u201cmore homicides this year than normal,\u201d but Troy\u2019s murder is the first \u201cjuvenile on juvenile\u201d since he was elected sheriff in 2016.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou don\u2019t want to go out to see a burnt child with bullet holes, that is not something you sign up for,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n
Officials are hoping the two teens will be tried as adults.<\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully, they go to adult prison, which is where they need to go. You do an adult crime, you got to do the adult time,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n
