STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 A chilly and possibly snowy week is ahead for New York City. <\/p>\n
Sunday is just a bit warmer than days prior, topping out at a cool 44 degrees as clouds coat the sky gray. Some sun may peek out but count on the days being calm. <\/p>\n
Monday\u2019s high temperature will hit 34 degrees, though AccuWeather predicts it will feel more like 23 degrees as windy gusts threaten to water eyes around the five boroughs. Sun and clouds will mix throughout the day Monday. <\/p>\n
Tuesday follows similarly, with \u201csome sun\u201d in the early hours before \u201cturning cloudy,\u201d AccuWeather reported. New York City will only reach 36 degrees, with the RealFeel hanging at about freezing. <\/p>\n
Despite the temperature rising Wednesday and Thursday, don\u2019t be fooled: It will feel like the low- to mid-thirties even though the highs will be 45 degrees and 43 degrees respectively. <\/p>\n
Count on some rain and wind Wednesday. Thursday, on the other hand, will have \u201cintervals of clouds and sunshine,\u201d with the wind persisting. <\/p>\n
Friday and Saturday is when the snow can come into play. <\/p>\n
According to AccuWeather, the last day of the work week will be \u201ccloudy most of the time with a chance for a bit of snow or flurries.\u201d Even with the high being a bit over freezing \u2014 39 degrees \u2014 the chill makes it feel cooler. <\/p>\n
The flurries will carry on through Friday night and into Saturday, when the city will reach 32 degrees precisely. <\/p>\n
Still, the amount of snow between the two days isn\u2019t going to be shovel worthy at this point, according to the AccuWeather forecast at the time of writing. <\/p>\n
The snow clears up on Sunday, yes; but then there\u2019s the below-freezing daytime temperatures. <\/p>\n
