The victim was shot once in the left knee around 9:18 p.m., according to a spokesman for the NYPD\u2019s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PWWZ2G4EEVCSVALHIN7DRC7M4U\">Police are seeking to question a man in a Nissan that traveled westbound on Broad Street in the moments after the shooting, according to the police spokesman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"F4RGY3Y5NZBGTEERQ2KND6QV3E\">On Thursday, the Nissan was described as a gold-colored Altima by a source at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"U4PR2OPZRBH3FOSN7DTZLHAPHE\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.silive.com\/crime-safety\/2025\/10\/nypd-49-year-old-man-suffers-gunshot-wound-to-leg-on-staten-island-thursday-night.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.silive.com\/crime-safety\/2025\/10\/nypd-49-year-old-man-suffers-gunshot-wound-to-leg-on-staten-island-thursday-night.html\">EMS took the victim in stable condition to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"QFFXJKS6NBARBDF3V567WZWFGM\">Several frustrated residents were unable to return to their homes or enter area businesses as police roped off the major intersection of Bay and Broad.
