Owning Manhattan<\/a> is back for Season 2, and the drama among the agents at SERHANT is just as juicy as any multi-million dollar deal. <\/p>\n

Chloe Tucker Caine<\/a>, who emerged from Season 1 as a breakout star, was often the center of the drama, especially when it came to her friendship with Jade Shenker<\/a>. Things between the two real estate agents began to fall apart last season when Shenker shared that her then-husband had cheated on her, and instead of comforting her friend, Tucker Caine questioned why she would keep that information from her. <\/p>\n

Going into Season 2, the women\u2014despite making up at the end of Season 1\u2014were not on speaking terms. Shenker shared that she had seen her ex-husband on Tucker Caine\u2019s social media stories and claimed that she took his side in the divorce, while Tucker Caine was upset that Shenker didn\u2019t check in on her after she had her baby.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Shenker\u2019s claims that she sided with her ex-husband, Tucker Caine told DECIDER that everyone doubted whether the commercial real estate agent was making up his affair for a storyline.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I can speak for all of us on the show. We really didn\u2019t know what to believe last season,\u201d she said. \u201cI mean, we really didn\u2019t know. Like, did her husband cheat? Is this something she\u2019s trying to push for a storyline? So, I think there was just a lot of confusion about it. I wasn\u2019t taking her side when I didn\u2019t even know if it was true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that Shenker learned of her husband\u2019s affair an entire eight months before they began filming, Tucker Caine added, \u201cYou\u2019re sitting on this for eight months to say it on camera, which I now understand, when you\u2019re on a reality show, that\u2019s what you do, you hold it for camera. It just felt a little yucky and weird.\u201d <\/p>\n

According to Tricia Lee, who stopped by DECIDER\u2019s studio along with Tucker Caine, the musical theatre guru wasn\u2019t saying anything that hadn\u2019t already been said by everyone else at SERHANT, including herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the answer to that question, the accurate answer, is most people on the show would have not put it past Jade to be making that up, and neither did Chloe and neither did I,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n

While Tucker Caine realized she was wrong when the show came out in August 2024, she said she soon began to question Shenker again after she said something in an article that she felt was \u201cvery untrue.\u201d Per Tucker Caine, her \u201cred flags going were correct,\u201d and she deduced that \u201cthings were being made up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like a convoluted, confusing time,\u201d she explained. \u201cNow, I realize that Jade is Jade. She is who she is. And I feel like I can\u2019t speak for everyone, but I can say for myself, I\u2019ve really now accepted her for exactly who she is.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the end of Season 2, Tucker Caine and Shenker are back to being the best of friends. Their long-overdue conversation finally occurred when Tucker Caine tearfully showed up at Shenker\u2019s doorstep after dropping her beloved dog, Sadie, off at the ICU to undergo treatment for a life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI [was] standing outside feeling so lost and broken. And I just, like, wanted to talk to my best friend,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI called producers and I was like, \u2018Listen, I have this feeling. I want to talk to Jade. I want to pick up the phone and talk to her. Follow this or don\u2019t, but I\u2019m going to her apartment.\u2019 Not that I knew where she lived because we hadn\u2019t been close in a long time, but I\u2019m getting her address and I\u2019m going.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, I love Jade. I\u2019m a ride or die for Jade,\u201d Tucker Caine added. \u201cEven though I\u2019ve said a lot of things about her that I regret.\u201d<\/p>\n
