{"id":64644,"date":"2025-12-08T20:10:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/64644\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T20:10:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:10:12","slug":"devil-son-who-pushed-mom-out-of-third-story-nyc-window-learns-fate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/64644\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Devil&#8217; son who pushed mom out of third-story NYC window learns fate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A drug-addled monster who put a knife to his 64-year-old mom\u2019s throat and shoved her out of a third-story Queens window could spend 25 years behind bars after being convicted of attempted murder.<\/p>\n<p>George Tsintzelis, 37, was found guilty by a jury Friday in the Nov. 15, 2024, near-fatal attack on Paraskevi Tsintzelis during a dispute about money, Queens prosecutors announced Monday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cParaskevi Tsintzelis was seriously injured but fortunately survived the fall and then made the difficult decision to testify against her son at trial,\u201d Queens <a href=\"https:\/\/queensda.org\/jury-convicts-astoria-man-of-attempted-murder-for-shoving-his-mother-out-of-third-floor-window\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">District Attorney Melinda Katz<\/a> said. <\/p>\n<p>George Tsintzelis, 37, held a knife to his mother\u2019s throat and threw her from a third-story window late last year. Brigitte Stelzer\/copyphoto<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe defendant pulled a knife on his mother before pushing her out of a third-floor window,\u201d Katz said. \u201cThis was a completely senseless act of violence that has torn a family apart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The battered mom <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/12\/04\/us-news\/inside-nyc-moms-years-of-terror-at-hands-of-devil-son-who-threw-her-from-third-story-window-im-scared-of-him\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told The Post from her hospital bed<\/a> last year that her troubled son had terrorized her for years, subjecting her to beatings and verbal assaults in a quest for drug money. <\/p>\n<p>Their relationship came to a shocking climax on the day of the attack. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had knives in his hand,\u201d Paraskevi Tsintzelis said last year. \u201cHe said, \u2018Don\u2019t yel or I am gonna stab you.\u2019 He was breaking things, picture frames with my daughter. He wouldn\u2019t leave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was smoking drugs in the house and blowing it in my face. I was afraid of him,\u201d she said. \u201cWherever you put the devil, it\u2019s still the devil. I\u2019m sorry for my words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paraskevi Tsintzelis, 64, miraculously survived the three-story fall in Queens last year but was left with severe injuries. Brigitte Stelzer<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when the brute, who beat his mom with her own cane, took her to the window ledge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe pushed me hard with both hands,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI don\u2019t know what happened after that. I don\u2019t remember.
