(Photos: Tristan deBrauwere) <\/p>\n<p>A retro playlist heavy on disco classics filled the room while guests grazed at doily-adorned tables overflowing with cheesy bites: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saveur.com\/recipes\/wisconsin-fried-cheese-curds-ranch-dressing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Wisconsin fried cheese curds<\/a> sitting in a drizzle of homemade herb-flecked ranch, cubes of feta topped with honey and bee pollen, and in the corner booth, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saveur.com\/sponsored-post\/wisconsin-alpine-style-fondue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Alpine-style cheese fondue<\/a> station where guest could cozy up to dip toast points into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsincheesemart.com\/products\/mount-raclette-wisconsin-cheese\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Alpinage Artisan Cheese Mount Raclette<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fromagination.com\/product\/grand-cru-surchoix-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Roth Cheese Grand Cru<\/a> (while taking cheese-pull videos, of course). (Photo: Tristan deBrauwere) <\/p>\n<p>To drink, guests sipped on coupes brimming with the retro rose-hued Midwestern classic, a Pink Squirrel (Tempus Fugit creme de noyaux, creme de cacao, and heavy cream, garnished with a cocktail cherry), and The Turk\u2019s Inn take on the old-fashioned, made with brandy and chai, garnished with a wedge of <a href=\"https:\/\/fromagination.com\/product\/roths-canela-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Roth Cheese Canela<\/a>. A lucky few won full wheels of cheese to take home, and the grand prize was a stylish Anthropologie bar cart fully stocked with Wisconsin cheese, which went to SAVEUR contributor Mike Diago.
