One of the boys arrested in the cold-blooded murder of Florida teen Danika Troy<\/a> cruelly tricked her into following them into the woods by claiming he had a crush on her, the slain girl\u2019s mother told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cGabe pretended to have feelings for her. That\u2019s how she was lured,\u201d Ashley Troy said of 16-year-old Gabriel Williams, who has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the girl\u2019s death along with 14-year-old Kimahri Blevins.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still need answers. I\u2019m just left asking why. She just wanted to be in love,\u201d Danika\u2019s heartbroken mother shared.<\/p>\n

One of the teens accused of murdering 14-year-old Danika Troy in Florida lured her into the woods by claiming he had a crush on her, according to the victim\u2019s mother.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Williams allegedly pretended to have feelings for Danika before killing her.<\/p>\n

Ashley reported her 14-year-old daughter missing on Dec. 1, and police found her body in a wooded area<\/a> in the Panhandle community of Pace the next day after a report from a passerby.<\/p>\n

She was shot multiple times, and her body was set on fire.<\/p>\n

Police quickly identified Blevins and Williams as the primary suspects, and came to believe during their investigation that the killing was the result of a fight on social media that happened over Thanksgiving break.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the boys wanted Danika dead because she blocked Blevins on social media and insulted Williams by calling him \u201cworthless and a gang banger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimahri Blevins is also accused of killing Danika. Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office<\/p>\n

Danika was reported missing on Dec. 1 and found by police a day later. Facebook\/Ashley Troy<\/p>\n

However, Ashley disputed their claims, saying, \u201cWhat those boys said is an excuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both teen suspects have had prior \u201crun-ins\u201d with cops, but the nature of those encounters was not immediately clear because they are minors.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the horrific murder, the Troy family\u2019s place of worship, Avalon Baptist Church in nearby Milton, is hosting a candlelight vigil in Danika\u2019s honor on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The accused killers remain in juvenile detention without bond.<\/p>\n
