A newly married man has been slammed online after branding his wife \u201cdisgusting\u201d over a common habit.<\/p>\n

In a controversial Reddit post<\/a>, the man detailed his new wife\u2019s bathroom act that left him \u201creally irked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife and I recently got married and moved in together. She has a bathroom habit that really irks me,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe likes to leave pee in the toilet and not flush each time to \u2018conserve water, \u2019\u201d he added, saying that his wife picked up the habit from her mom.<\/p>\n

He complained he got tired of walking into the bathroom and it always smelled like \u201cp\u2014.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it \u201cwas the straw that broke the camel\u2019s back\u201d after it happened during her period.<\/p>\n

Fed up, he called her disgusting, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t care about saving a penny on a gallon of water, you\u2019re disgusting, you need to start flushing EVERY TIME.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the incident, his wife became quiet and stopped speaking to him.<\/p>\n

In an edit, he added it wasn\u2019t the first time he\u2019d tried to address the issue, having previously asked her to flush the toilet.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe apparently hid this habit from me. We lived together for a year, and she never did this, and now it comes out all of a sudden,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Commenters were left divided, with many branding the husband as an \u201ca\u2013hole.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe really thought we would all jump on the bandwagon and agree his wife is disgusting,\u201d another commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reality is that when you\u2019re living with someone, a lot of your interactions are around the small, daily household habits,\u201d Kim said. \u201cIf you feel annoyed by your partner\u2019s toilet habits, it\u2019s something that can affect you every single day, and this can slowly build resentment over time.\u201d<\/p>\n
