Ryan Serhant<\/a> got his start on Bravo, where Andy Cohen<\/a> still lives. Therefore, these city boys have been friendly for years. But a while back, Ryan asked Andy to appear on his new series, Owning Manhattan<\/a>, during Season 2. And sadly, Andy turned him down. Now, Ryan is sharing why.<\/p>\n

Andy Cohen is staying loyal to Bravo<\/p>\n

In 2012, Ryan appeared on Million Dollar Listing New York<\/a>, which premiered on Bravo. He remained here for nine seasons, selling and listing some of the hottest properties in the Triborough area via his team at the Nest Seekers brokerage. Following this long stint, Ryan left filming to start his own brokerage, SERHANT. And since he experienced a long, successful run on Bravo, Ryan went ahead and attached cameras<\/a> to this new gig as well.<\/p>\n

The results? A new Netflix series titled Owning Manhattan. All eight episodes of Season 2 actually just dropped. And yes, fans loved every second<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before Season 2 premiered, however, Andy hired Ryan to list his unit in the West Village, which Ryan later sold<\/a> for roughly $12 million. Overall, Ryan enjoyed working with Andy. As Ryan explained to Decider<\/a>, Andy is not a fan of micromanaging practices, which Ryan greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n

Instead, Andy \u201cunderstands that when he hires people to do a job, they will do the job. I have a lot of clients who are incredibly successful who micromanage everything, and they call me 57 times a day,\u201d Ryan explained. Yes, while these men worked together on this listing, Ryan offered Andy a cameo slot on Owning Manhattan Season 2, which was filming around this same time. However, Andy turned down his offer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked him to do the show, and he was like, \u2018Bravo\u2019s better,\u2019\u201d Ryan revealed. In response, Ryan \u201cwas like, \u2018I didn\u2019t realize it was a battle.\u2019\u201d \u2018Oop.<\/p>\n

Owning Manhattan<\/a> is streaming on Netflix, without Andy.<\/p>\n
