Queen\u2019s iconic #1\u00a0hit\u00a0\u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d has reached a new milestone on YouTube.<\/p>\n

The video<\/a> for the 1975 song has just surpassed\u00a02 billion views on the site, making it the oldest song to ever reach such a milestone.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0has been\u00a0a big year for \u201cBohemian Rhapsody,\u201d as Queen\u00a0celebrated the song\u2019s 50th anniversary in October. To mark the occasion they released the single on transparent blue heavyweight 12-inch vinyl, as a 12-inch picture disc and as a blue cassette single.<\/p>\n

The song is from Queen\u2019s #1 album A Night at the Opera. It\u00a0was the band\u2019s first #1 single in the U.K., spending nine weeks on the top of the chart. The six-minute operatic tune, written by Freddie Mercury, was rereleased in 1991 following Mercury\u2019s death and returned to #1.<\/p>\n

In other Queen news \u2026 guitarist Brian May\u2019s wife,\u00a0Anita Dobson, revealed a bit of a tidbit about the future of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band, and it sounds like fans shouldn\u2019t expect to see them out on the road anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey will do little bits and bobs, but they won\u2019t do those big tours,\u201d she told the U.K. outlet The Mirror<\/a>. \u201cWe are all getting old.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
