(Atlanta News First) \u2014 A man wanted in a deadly October shooting in southwest Atlanta was arrested in New York City, according to police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Around 10 p.m. on Oct. 18, Atlanta police said they responded to a person shot near a grocery store on 2070 Alison Court SW. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">They found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Atlanta News First is working to learn the victim\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">PREVIOUS COVERAGE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlantanewsfirst.com\/2025\/10\/19\/man-dies-after-being-shot-multiple-times-alison-court-atlanta-police-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.atlantanewsfirst.com\/2025\/10\/19\/man-dies-after-being-shot-multiple-times-alison-court-atlanta-police-say\/\">Man dies after being shot multiple times on Alison Court, Atlanta police say<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Friday, Atlanta police said 19-year-old Ranique Crawford was arrested the previous day in Brooklyn, New York, on charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He is awaiting extradition to Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, the New York City Police Department and the Atlanta Police Department\u2019s Fugitive Unit worked together to capture Crawford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Crawford is the second suspect arrested in the case. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Atlanta police previously said they arrested 20-year-old Tremeico Watson on Nov. 4 on the same charges Crawford is facing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WANF.
