BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father-in-law Thursday night inside a Brooklyn home<\/a>, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspect also stabbed his mother-in-law multiple times, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Albert Torres, 35, faces charges of murder and attempted murder, according to arrest records.<\/p>\n

Torres was taken into police custody and later arrested on Friday evening, police said.<\/p>\n

The stabbing happened last night. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a residence on East 69th Street between Avenue L and M in Brooklyn, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The two victims were found with multiple stab wounds and were taken to a local hospital. Juan Manuel Galicia<\/a>, identified as Torres\u2019 father-in-law, later died. The woman remains hospitalized, authorities said.<\/p>\n
