STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Vincent Kraker scored 10 of his team-high 18 points during the pivotal third quarter as Monsignor Farrell rolled to a 57-44 CHSAA Staten Island victory over host St. Peter\u2019s on Friday in New Brighton.<\/p>\n
In addition to Kraker, who finished with three treys and a pair of conventional three-point plays, the Lions received offensive contributions from Colin Cook (13 points) and Jacob Razefsky (12 points). <\/p>\n
Mikhial Lopez scored a game-high 21 points and Ryan Tuite nailed three three-pointers for St. Peter\u2019s, which owned a 25-22 lead at intermission.<\/p>\n
However, the Lions opened the second half on fire thanks to a game-changing, 18-2 run. <\/p>\n
Kraker sank a pair of threes and converted a three-point play while Razefsky and Cook teamed for another 11 points as the Lions took a commanding 45-31 advantage into the final eight minutes.<\/p>\n
Cook\u2019s five points \u2014 including the last of his three treys \u2014 helped secure the win.<\/p>\n
