STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Celebrities Colin Jost and Pete Davidson\u2019s proposal to dock their decommissioned John F. Kennedy ferryboat at Pier 1 and operate it as an entertainment venue will come before a Community Board 1 committee next week.<\/a><\/p>\n

Davidson and Jost bought the vessel for $280,000 about four years ago, planning to turn it into a site for floating restaurants, bars, and performance spaces.<\/p>\n

The meeting is among several public Staten Island Community Board meetings being held this week.<\/p>\n

The following is a listing of upcoming Community Board meetings provided by representatives from each of Staten Island\u2019s three boards.<\/p>\n

Community Board 1<\/p>\n

Details of the plans for the vessel owned by Jost and Peterson will be explained to the Community Board 1 New Brighton\/St. George\/Tompkinsville Committee on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

An explanation of every aspect of the plan is expected, a board spokesperson said. \u201cHow they plan to use it, parking, hours, everything,\u2019’ she said. \u201dWe just want to ask questions. They\u2019ll probably be back again.”<\/p>\n

Community Board 3 has no meetings scheduled for next week.<\/p>\n
