Francisco Lindor offered his farewell to two of his former teammates Saturday via social media.<\/p>\n

The Mets\u2019 All-Star shortstop posted separate stories on his Instagram account to say goodbye to free-agent defectors Edwin D\u00edaz and Pete Alonso, who signed this week with the Dodgers and the Orioles, respectively.<\/p>\n

\u201cTe quiero, mi hermano. Thank you,\u201d Lindor wrote in a post to D\u00edaz, with the Spanish part translating to \u201cI love you, my brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lindor also wrote \u201cthank you\u201d in his Alonso story, beneath the caption, \u201cMuch love.\u201d<\/p>\n

D\u00edaz signed a three-year deal worth $69 million<\/a> to become the Dodgers\u2019 closer, while Alonso landed a five-year deal<\/a> worth $155 million with Baltimore.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the offseason, the Mets traded outfielder Brandon Nimmo to Texas<\/a> for second baseman Marcus Semien. <\/p>\n

They also had signed former Yankees reliever Devin Williams<\/a>, before adding infielder\/designated hitter Jorge Polanco<\/a> on Saturday for two years and $40 million.<\/p>\n
