Job description: The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) (Hourly) will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The incumbent will function as an admissions coordinator and may be responsible for managing a small counseling caseload.<\/p>\n

Interview clients and review medical\/psychiatric history, and complete various assessments as part of treatment plan development.Assess individual and family needs, strengths and limitations.Completes required client and facility admissions documentation, adhering to applicable OASAS procedures and confidentiality regulations.Provide sorientation to the clients regarding the nature of the treatment facility, including its programs, activities, policies, and rules.Records significant psychosocial events and\/or changes in clinical condition.Determines the individual needs for referral to community-based services.Serves as a resource to other team members regarding social adjustment, discharge service needs, and the effective utilization of community services.May provide individual, group, and family counseling, as well as crisis intervention.May provide clinical consultation and assistance to members of the professional staff and members of the treatment team, under the clinical supervision of a licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist.Prepares reports and maintain all records as required.<\/p>\n
