{"id":70730,"date":"2025-12-15T02:47:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T02:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/70730\/"},"modified":"2025-12-15T02:47:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T02:47:06","slug":"curt-menefee-leaving-good-day-new-york-after-two-years-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/70730\/","title":{"rendered":"Curt Menefee leaving &#8216;Good Day New York&#8217; after two years, report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"RXDGL66MGNFSVPVJ2M4BT7LMA4\">After nearly two years, \u201cGood Day New York\u201d host Curt Menefee will soon be departing the television program, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5ny.com\/news\/curt-menefee-saying-goodbye-good-day-new-york\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fox5ny.com\/news\/curt-menefee-saying-goodbye-good-day-new-york\">a recent report from Fox 5 News<\/a>, which airs the longtime morning show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"2U363LLW6VAXFAM2XBYLWQTMAQ\">The anchor recently confirmed that he will not be returning to co-host the long-running morning news show alongside Rosanna Scotto, according to the report. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"P4FUL4YPUZBYBFF62CAM72UHFU\">Menefee, who lives on the West Coast, cited the work commute as the reason why he was stepping down, the outlet reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"AJU3CNLYAJA7DL3GUXOPHFG56Q\">Menefee is the host for \u201cFox NFL Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"KCZ3XWW4RJDMBD4GJVMRDOFYB4\">\u201cIt\u2019s one of those things that has been a great time,\u201d Menefee said while announcing the decision on Tuesday\u2019s broadcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"IXNP2QMDUNEW3OF5BEU2RYWQMY\">\u201cYou have been welcoming, the staff has been wonderful, but the back and forth has been a lot.
