R&B singer Trey Songz claimed he was the victim after getting busted for allegedly trashing<\/a> a Manhattan hookah lounge early Sunday morning, newly released video of the arrest reveals. <\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t touch anybody,\u201d the 41-year-old performer says in the footage posted on Instagram by nyuncut_tv<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, bro, tell them I didn\u2019t do nothing to nobody,\u201d the singer, whose real name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson, says as he\u2019s led to an NYPD squad car by a female officer. \u201cI didn\u2019t do nothing to nobody. They assaulted me. Miss, they assaulted me.\u201d<\/p>\n

An unidentified man is seen trying to reason with the cops to let the singer go.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody\u2019s pressing charges,\u201d the man is heard saying. \u201cTell him what he\u2019s under arrest for.\u201d<\/p>\n

A woman is then heard screaming in the background, \u201cHe didn\u2019t do nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The drama unfolded shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, when Neverson allegedly caused $1,500 in damages to Mira Mediterranean Hookah Lounge on 34th Street after a scuffle broke out, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

Trey Songz is charged with slugging an employee of Dramma Times Square nightclub on Dec. 4, prosecutors said. William Miller<\/p>\n

Witnesses told police the incident came as \u201cmultiple individuals\u201d got into a melee at the bar.<\/p>\n

In one puzzling moment, the \u201cSlow Motion\u201d crooner tells cops, \u201cThey told me I\u2019d get paid, and I\u2019m not paid,\u201d as he\u2019s being handcuffed inside the lounge, the video shows.<\/p>\n

In court later on Sunday, Neverson, who has three prior arrests, was charged with criminal mischief and was hit with unrelated assault charges for allegedly slugging an employee at Dramma Night Club in Times Square on Dec. 4, Manhattan prosecutors said. <\/p>\n

In that case, prosecutors said he became \u201cneedlessly irate\u201d and flew off the handle when the employee told him at around 4:25 a.m. that the club would be closing in a few minutes.<\/p>\n

Neverson was released without bail in both incidents.<\/p>\n

In a statement Sunday, the singer\u2019s lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, said the Sunday morning incident was sparked by a patrons \u201cwho instigated a confrontation and attempted to surround him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis security intervened to protect him and contain the situation and an altercation occurred in the ensuing confusion,\u201d Schuster said. \u201cDespite being the target of the initial provocation, Trey was arrested.\u201d<\/p>\n
