A quiet Brentwood block turned into a livestream circus in the hours after Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were allegedly murdered inside their mansion by their own son<\/a> \u2014 with social media influencers causing headaches for both neighbors and cops.<\/p>\n

While reporting from Reiner\u2019s home, The Post observed two men drive up to the active crime scene in a black Tesla and immediately create chaos Monday morning. At least one of the men appeared to be livestreaming from the vehicle \u2014 parked right outside Reiner\u2019s home \u2014 while officers stood nearby.<\/p>\n

Almost immediately, they began shouting to their followers and pumping loud music while livestreaming.<\/p>\n

The flashpoint came when LAPD officers ordered one of the influencers to turn the music down.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone just died though,\u201d the influencer said as police moved in.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just want to keep the peace,\u201d he added, accusing other media at the scene of exploiting the tragedy. \u201cWe want to give it up to these guys \u2014 they\u2019re all trying to profit off the man that died,\u201d the streamer stated.<\/p>\n

Officers repeated the order to turn the music down.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust keep it down, OK? That\u2019s all we want legally,\u201d an officer said.<\/p>\n

Another man at the scene identified himself as streamer Ice Poseidon, although an online search of the handle makes it unclear whether it is the same individual. No livestreams from outside the home appear to exist.<\/p>\n

He repeatedly claimed he was a \u201cminor,\u201d though he appeared to be in his 20s. He stood in front of the home wearing a black sweatshirt topped with a gold Burger King crown, planted in the middle of a tight swarm of reporters and camera crews.<\/p>\n

He repeatedly accused members of the media of assaulting him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe touched my property.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cN\u2014\u2014 I\u2019m standing on what I believe is for my n\u2014\u2014 in the chat,\u201d he said, before repeating, \u201cHe touched my property and is invading my creative bubble.\u201d<\/p>\n

Influencers arrive at dawn Monday and disrupt the scene outside Rob Reiner\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

No arrests were immediately announced in connection with the disturbance.<\/p>\n

The disorder unfolded against the backdrop of a horrifying crime.<\/p>\n

Rob 78, and Michele 68, were found in their homes with their throats slashed around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, TMZ reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rob Reiner\u2019s troubled son, Nick Reiner<\/a>, has been charged with the fatal stabbings, authorities said Monday.<\/p>\n

Nick Reiner, 32 \u2014 who has spent years battling drug addiction<\/a> and cycling in and out of rehab \u2014 is in custody. He was detained around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

Reiner\u2019s daughter, Romy, discovered the bodies around 3:30 p.m. and told police she believed a family member \u201cshould be the suspect,\u201d TMZ reported. She allegedly described the relative as \u201cdangerous,\u201d according to the report.<\/p>\n

Nick Reiner has previously spoken publicly about his struggles<\/a> with addiction, homelessness, and instability.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas,\u201d he told People magazine in a 2016 interview.<\/p>\n

He said he first entered rehab at 15 and went through at least 17 treatment programs, at times spending weeks living on the street.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could\u2019ve died,\u201d he said of leaving a treatment center at 19. \u201cIt\u2019s all luck.
