STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Police are investigating a report of a burglary early Wednesday morning at a home in Westerleigh.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported at about 2:33 a.m. at a home in the vicinity of Constant Avenue and Virginia Place, according to a spokesman for the NYPD\u2019s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.<\/p>\n
Authorities are investigating whether the individuals accessed the home through a window, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.<\/p>\n
Two unidentified individuals entered the location and removed property that included house keys, a key fob and a wallet containing various credit cards and identification, the spokesman said.<\/p>\n
The individuals fled in an SUV.<\/p>\n
No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
NYPD cars were stationed near the home on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
