The park is in the confines of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/nypd73pct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">73rd Precinct<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-235560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Photo-Dec-18-2025-4-09-10-PM.jpg\" alt=\"belongings on stabbing scene\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\"  \/>A child\u2019s belongings were left behind at the scene of the incident. Photo by Lloyd Mitchell<\/p>\n<p>Police sources said the child suffered a stab wound to his chest. He was rushed by ambulance to Brookdale University Hospital in critical condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD launched a land-and-air search for the child\u2019s suspected attacker.
