The Bowery Presents confirmed that the owners of 66 North Sixth Street will not renew the venue\u2019s lease when it expires at the end of 2026, forcing the venue to relocate or shut down entirely.<\/p>\n<p>In an internal memo shared by Bowery Presents co-partners Jim Glancy and John Moore, the company reflected on the venue\u2019s legacy and its role in shaping Williamsburg\u2019s cultural identity. The stage welcomed early performances from Mumford &amp; Sons, Tame Impala, St. Vincent, Ed Sheeran, Tyler, The Creator, Brandi Carlile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thexx\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The xx,<\/a> The Weeknd, Robyn, Disclosure, The War on Drugs, King Gizzard &amp; The Lizard Wizard, Phoebe Bridgers, IDLES, Maggie Rogers, <a href=\"https:\/\/weraveyou.com\/?s=Fred+again..\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fred again..<\/a>, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.<\/p>\n<p>Glancy and Moore emphasized that Bowery Presents will continue to operate the venue through the end of 2026, ensuring that its final chapter honors the legacy built inside its walls. They also reaffirmed the company\u2019s long-standing commitment to artist development and discovering new spaces where live music can thrive.<\/p>\n<p>While the future of the building itself remains uncertain, Music Hall of Williamsburg\u2019s impact on New York\u2019s live music ecosystem already stands secured.
