(WSMV) &#8211; A Franklin, Tennessee native is living out her life-long dream as a Radio City Rockette in New York City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">At 21 years old, Christina Naslund is kicking off her first season with the legendary dance company, and it\u2019s a historic one as the Rockettes celebrate their 100th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Naslund says she\u2019s dreamed of becoming a Rockette since she was six years old. She grew up watching the Rockettes perform in Nashville when they were on tour and in New York City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">However, there were some challenging moments Naslund faced that made her question whether her dream was attainable.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link | text-reset d-block h-100 w-100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsmv.com\/page\/our-apps\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"WSMV - template image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/PYQCNXWUIVE27BALA565ZY2LFQ.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cNew York City is huge. There are so many people, so many amazing dancers and you\u2019re just kind of one fish in the sea,\u201d Naslund said. \u201cAnd I definitely doubted myself a few times. It helped that I was in a conservatory college program, and I had all my set people and all my friends and we could go take classes together.
