Brooklyn resident Sally Muschel, 100, sat front row as a special guest during this week\u2019s Hanukkah celebration at the White House.<\/p>\n
\tIn a cellphone video recorded by her great-grandson, the centenarian is seen responding to President Donald Trump when he asks about her age.<\/p>\n
\t\u201c100 and two months!\u201d Muschel screamed before thunderous applause from the packed room.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cShe\u2019s sharper than most of the people in this room,\u201d Trump replied.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cTo have a compliment from the president of the United States, could you imagine?\u201d Muschel told News 12. \u201cCould I ever imagine in my life that this could happen to me? No.\u201d<\/p>\n
\tMuschel is a Holocaust survivor. She said that as a child, she did not know if she\u2019d live to see another day.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cI was hungry,\u201d Muschel told Trump in front of the crowd. \u201cI was alone as a child, and here I am meeting you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\tMuschel said she was separated from her family at just 13 years old. She is the only survivor.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cThey told us, \u2018You have an hour to pack, and you have to go,\u2019\u201d said Muschel. \u201cI was crying and screaming that I didn\u2019t want to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite her pain, Muschel had a special Hanukkah message.<\/p>\n
