The governor helped thousands of local businesses by blocking imposition of the overly broad and punitive regulatory framework. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"UNVMEDTMT5H2RJCYT76CGQGNPI\">Business owners need support to thrive in today\u2019s economy, not yet another layer of regulation.
