Family has always guided Brooks\u2019s decisions, and he feels this is the right moment to spend more time at home.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrooks will continue to be a huge supporter of LIV Golf and wishes the league and its players continued success. We appreciate the significant impact he has had on the game and wish him continued success, both on and off the course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before leaving the PGA Tour for LIV, Koepka was one of the top golfers in the world, winning four majors and spending 44 total weeks as the No. 1-ranked golfer at various points from 2018-20.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite winning a fifth major since joining LIV Golf, Koepka\u2019s career has taken a turn in recent years, finishing top-25 in just one of eight major starts over the past two years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Koepka hinted that <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/03\/12\/sports\/brooks-koepka-gives-big-clue-on-future-after-fred-couples-pga-comments\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he wanted to be back on the PGA Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Koepka and his wife, Jena Sims, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/10\/06\/sports\/jena-sims-reveals-heartbreaking-pregnancy-loss-at-16-weeks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">revealed they were dealing with a pregnancy loss<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt 16 weeks, we learned that our baby\u2019s heart had stopped beating,\u201d Sims wrote on Instagram. \u201cThis is a grief no parent is ever prepared for.
