Police are on the hunt for three suspects who allegedly tossed a cup filled with liquid at a man and beat him on Staten Island<\/a>, permanently scarring his face last month.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to law enforcement<\/a> sources, the horrific attack took place near Clove Road and Giles Place in Grasmere just after 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.<\/p>\n Three individuals \u2014 two males and one female wearing a face mask \u2014 approached the 40-year-old victim before an argument ensued. It then escalated to a physical attack, police said.\n<\/p>\n Two suspects began brutally beating the man before the third tossed a cup containing an \u201cunknown liquid\u201d at his face, causing him to fall to the ground. The relentless attack continued as one of the perps viciously stomped on the man\u2019s head, authorities described.\u00a0<\/p>\n Officers from the 122nd Precinct<\/a> arrived at the scene, but not before the suspect fled the location on foot, heading westbound on Clove Road to parts unknown. EMS also arrived and rushed the man to Staten Island University Hospital North Campus.<\/p>\n The victim suffered \u201csignificant physical injuries to his face\u201d and permanent scarring as a result of the attack, police said. He was listed in stable condition at the hospital.\n<\/p>\n Authorities said the victim was not robbed during the assault.\n<\/p>\n Police released surveillance photos of the suspects on Dec. 23, who remain at large.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The first sought individual is described as a male with a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and a dark-colored jacket; the second male suspect is described as having a dark complexion, last seen wearing a light colored knit hat and a dark-colored jacket; and the third suspect is described as a female with a dark complexion and last seen wearing a light-colored jacket and blue face mask.\u00a0<\/p>\n So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).\u00a0 The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crimestoppers website at\u00a0crimestoppers.nypdonline.org<\/a>, or on X (formerly Twitter)\u00a0@NYPDTips.<\/a> All calls and messages are kept confidential.<\/p>\n \t
