The \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d alum sported a beige trench coat and red pants paired with a beige winter hat, black purse and black sneakers. She was carrying a few packages that seemed to be holiday gifts. <\/p>\n
The teen is currently on her winter break from her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University. <\/p>\n
Holmes and Suri share\u00a0a strong mother-daughter bond<\/a> as Suri is an only child and has been estranged from her father for most of her life. <\/p>\n Suri \u2014 who Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise \u2014 wore a green North Face puffer jacket and jeans paired with a red purse and brown shoes. Elder Ordonez\/INSTARimages<\/p>\n She was raised in NYC by her mom, who made sure to distance Suri from her father\u2019s involvement in the Church of Scientology<\/a> after their 2012 divorce<\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u201cMission: Impossible\u201d star has missed all of Suri\u2019s recent milestones, including her high school graduation<\/a>\u00a0in June 2024 and her\u00a0move to college<\/a>\u00a0in August of that year.<\/p>\n Around that time, rumors began to swirl that a portion of Suri\u2019s multimillion trust fund from her famous father \u201ckicked in\u201d and she would be able to access the rest of the money in her 30s.<\/p>\n But Holmes took to Instagram and adamantly shut down the rumor<\/a>, telling the Daily Mail \u2014 who published the article on it \u2014 \u201cto stop making stuff up.\u201d<\/p>\n Suri was raised in NYC by her mom, who made sure to distance Suri from her father\u2019s involvement in the Church of Scientology after their 2012 divorce.
