Katia Reguero Lindor, the stunning violinist wife of the New York Mets\u2019 star shortstop Francisco Lindor, quietly caught a spot on Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani\u2019s inaugural committee.<\/p>\n
The mom of three was listed as the host of \u201cThe Unaparent Podcast\u201d on the roster of committee members released by Mamdani earlier this week, and largely slipped under the radar in the celeb-heavy list.<\/p>\n

But her role isn\u2019t necessarily a surprise: the self-described<\/a> \u201cbreastfeeding + home birth + social justice advocate\u201d vocally backed the democratic socialist during November\u2019s election.<\/p>\n \u201cSupporting politicians who fight for immigrants, artists, workers, and everyone who deserves a dignified life \u2013 isn\u2019t against my interests, even if I\u2019m in a different economic position,\u201d she posted before the election, SportsKeeda first reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cP.S. Your enemies aren\u2019t the immigrants- they\u2019re the one-percenters hoarding the wealth while leaving you without basic needs,\u201d wrote Reguero Lindor, whose hubby\u2019s salary is about about $34.1 million <\/a>annually. <\/p>\n The inaugural committee \u2014 which includes actors Cynthia Nixon and John Turturro \u2014 will help host Mamdani\u2019s ascension to mayor on Jan. 1, by reflecting the city he\u2019ll serve, transition officials said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m honored to be joined by some of the most creative and experienced minds in the city as we build an inauguration that is truly by and for New Yorkers,\u201d Mamdani said in a statement. <\/p>\n Mamdani hailed his inaugural committee as some of the \u201cmost creative\u201d minds in the city. Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a celebration of the movement that made this victory possible, and the beginning of a new dawn for our city.\u201d<\/p>\n Reguero Lindor, a classically trained violinist, met her husband known as \u201cMr. Smile\u201d when he slid into her Instagram DMs<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Puerto Rican pair married in 2021 \u2014 the same year Lindor, 32, inked a $341 million dollar, 10-year deal<\/a> with the Mets.<\/p>\n They\u2019ve since had three kids, providing fodder for 31-year-old Reguero Lindor parenting podcast.<\/p>\n Lindor\u2019s agent and a spokesman for the Mets didn\u2019t return requests for comment, nor did Mamdani\u2019s transition team.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
