The Knickerbocker Hotel is toasting its 120th anniversary with a $120,000 New Year\u2019s Eve package for couples they are calling \u201ca once-in-a-century celebration\u201d and \u201cthe city\u2019s most elevated, turnkey New Year\u2019s Eve experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe package reimagines New Year\u2019s Eve as a fully orchestrated journey, pairing luxury hospitality with high-touch styling, beauty, and wellness, all culminating in once-in-a-lifetime access to the Times Square Ball Drop just 150 feet from the world\u2019s most-watched countdown,\u201d the hotel trumpeted.<\/p>\n

The luxe hotel at 42nd Street and Broadway is offering a three-night stay in one of its suites, along with a multi-course NYE dinner at\u00a0its Charlie Palmer Steak IV \u2014 \u00a0and a private\u00a0St. Cloud Rooftop\u00a0pod to view the ball drop.<\/p>\n
The pod comes with bottle service and champagne sabering \u2014 where the bottle of bubbly is ceremoniously opened by shearing off the top with a saber.<\/p>\n
The next day, revelers at the hotel \u2014 which opened in 1906 and has welcomed famous guests like John D. Rockefeller and F. Scott Fitzgerald and is rumored to be the birthplace of the martini \u2014 receive dinner at\u00a0Akoya, the\u00a0sushi restaurant on its premises.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The hefty price tag also includes perks from Nordstrom\u2019s NYC Flagship on West 57th Street, which is partnering with the Knickerbocker to pamper its NYE guests with a blowout, manicure and pedicure, hair, makeup and wardrobe curation \u2014 and a $25,000 clothing and accessories credit.<\/p>\n
