An Elmont man was charged Sunday\u00a0with the stabbing death of a 33-year-old man in Elmont, Nassau police said.<\/p>\n
Shortly after 1 p.m., police were called to a home on Travis Avenue to assist a victim who had been stabbed, police said. Upon arrival, they found a 33-year-old man who had been stabbed numerous times, police said\u00a0in a news release.<\/p>\n
Witnesses at the scene identified\u00a0Desean Harrison, 23, a resident of the home, as the man who did the stabbing; he was arrested without incident, police said.<\/p>\n
The victim, whose identity was not released by police, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff, police said.<\/p>\n
Harrison was charged with second-degree murder; he will be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.<\/p>\n
No further information was immediately available.<\/p>\n
