(WIBW) &#8211; A pair of injury crashes were reported Sunday afternoon in Manhattan, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u2022 Riley County police units responded to a report of an injury crash around 3:12 p.m. Sunday at S. Seth Child Road and Fort Riley Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Upon their arrival, officers found that a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck driven by Jesus Porras-Sandoval, 27, of Manhattan, collided with a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck driven by Anthony Capobianco, 27, of Ogden.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"A pair of injury crashes were reported within a half-hour of each other Sunday afternoon in...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/FRUPAZBT5NGXZMKVEKZES7O4FI.jpeg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>A pair of injury crashes were reported within a half-hour of each other Sunday afternoon in Manhattan, officials said.(Matt Gush &#8211; stock.adobe.com)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Porras-Sandoval was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan for treatment of his injuries and issued a citation for unsafe speed for prevailing conditions and for having no driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u2022 Officers responded to a report of another injury crash around 2:44 p.m. on Sunday near Murray Road and Fort Riley Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Responding officers from the Riley County Police Department found a 2009 Nissan Frontier driven by Heather Cunningham, 44, of Manhattan, and a 2014 Toyota Tundra, driven by Stephen Gerard, 62, of Manhattan, had collided.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Cunningham was transported to Via Christi for her injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Gerard and his two passengers, Cheryl Gerard, 63, of Manhattan, and Dean Gerard, 6, of Manhattan, also were transported to Via Christi for their injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Cunningham was issued a citation for unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Stephen Gerard was issued a citation for having no child safety restraints. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WIBW.
