Outgoing firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> openly speculated that President Trump<\/a> lacks religious beliefs and slammed the \u201csexualization\u201d of women at his lavish Mar-a-Lago club in a blistering series of interviews.<\/p>\n

Greene (R-Ga.) reflected on Trump\u2019s stunning remarks at the memorial service for late conservative icon Charlie Kirk, in which the president was taken aback at how the Turning Point USA co-founder \u201cwanted the best\u201d for his enemies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where I disagreed with Charlie. I\u00a0hate\u00a0my opponent, and I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0want the best for them,\u201d Trump declared at the same September memorial where Erika Kirk powerfully forgave the sicko who allegedly killed her husband in cold blood.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was absolutely the worst statement,\u201d Greene told the New York Times<\/a>. \u201cIt just shows where his heart is. And that\u2019s the difference, with her [Erika] having a sincere Christian faith, and proves that he does not have any faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump was raised Presbyterian but has described himself as a non-denominational Christian. Throughout his political career, the president has leaned heavily on support from evangelical Christians. <\/p>\n

After a bullet came within a quarter-inch of killing him during his rally in Butler, Pa., last year, Trump has said that he\u2019s become \u201cmore of a believer\u201d<\/a> and feels that he was \u201csaved by God.\u201d<\/p>\n

Greene had been one of Trump\u2019s most ardent supporters throughout most of her career in Congress, after she was first elected in 2021.<\/p>\n

She publicly decried the arrests and treatment of the Jan. 6 Capitol rioters, backed Trump\u2019s<\/a> dubious claims that the 2020 election was stolen, and even briefly garnered some buzz<\/a> that she could be his VP pick last year.<\/p>\n

Her praise of Trump had been effusive, commending his looks, dubbing him<\/a> \u201cTHE GREATEST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY,\u201d and calling him \u201cgenuinely kind-hearted and caring about everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

But that began to change last spring, when she slowly began splitting from him on some issues at an increasing pace. Trump has claimed<\/a> he set her off by sending her a poll indicating she wouldn\u2019t fare well if she ran for governor or Senate. <\/p>\n

Greene denied that Trump<\/a> told her not to run, but announced she wouldn\u2019t in May. Tensions between the two reached a tipping point last month when Trump yanked his endorsement for her re-election bid and publicly lashed out at her. She announced she\u2019d step down on Jan. 6, 2026, shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur side has been trained by Donald Trump to never apologize and to never admit when you\u2019re wrong,\u201d Greene moaned about Trump\u2019s grip on the GOP.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just keep pummeling your enemies, no matter what. And as a Christian, I don\u2019t believe in doing that. I agree with Erika Kirk, who did the hardest thing possible and said it out loud.\u201d<\/p>\n

She later added: \u201cFor a lot of MAGA, Trump is a savior, and he\u2019s like a god to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

While looking back on the causes of her falling out with Trump, Greene concluded that \u201cit was [Jeffrey] Epstein. Epstein was everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

She alleged that Trump privately opposed her reading out the names of some of the men tied to Epstein who abused women, telling her, \u201cMy friends will get hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Greene also took issue with the aesthetic of women at Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago club, contending that they\u2019re oversexualized. <\/p>\n

\u201cI never liked the MAGA Mar-a-Lago sexualization. I believe how women in leadership present themselves sends a message to younger women,\u201d the congresswoman said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have two daughters, and I\u2019ve always been uncomfortable with how those women puff up their lips and enlarge their breasts. I\u2019ve never spoken about it publicly, but I\u2019ve been planning to.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked for comment on Greene\u2019s withering critique, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle blasted her for \u201cquitting on her constituents in the middle of her term and abandoning the consequential fight we\u2019re in.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump remains the undisputed leader of the greatest and fastest growing political movement in American history \u2014 the MAGA movement,\u201d Ingles said.<\/p>\n
