originally from Brooklyn<\/a>, officially opened the doors to their New York-style Italian deli over the weekend\u2014and the lines snaked in a New York minute.<\/p>\n\u201cWe opened on the 4th, did our grand opening that Saturday, and we\u2019ve been slammed all week,\u201d Hal told The Citizen. \u201cAll the New Yorkers are coming.\u201d<\/p>\n
From salivating Gotham transplants to locals looking for a taste of the big city, demand has been overwhelming.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Philly cheesesteak, the chicken parm, and for some reason everyone\u2019s loving the New Yorker. The Little Italy. The Brooklyn Guido,\u201d Hal said, still a little stunned at the response. \u201cThey\u2019re flying outta here.\u201d<\/p>\n
The deli, located at 180 Registry Blvd., Suite 102, features homemade mozzarella, bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, and a murderer\u2019s row of classic NYC staples. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe have so much love and appreciation for everybody showing support,\u201d Hal said. \u201cIt\u2019s been nonstop. Our biggest challenge right now is just finding the right employees and keeping up with demand.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hal, a retired NYC sanitation worker, and Jen, a nurse at Baptist Hospital, relocated from Brooklyn to Trailmark in search of a slower pace for their young family\u2014and say they immediately fell in love with the county and its people.<\/p>\n
